Provide practical training service
-
Target: electricity workers and institutions/enterprises that need power system training
Relay School is
the only institution in Korea that provides education on power system protection and control technology. Since opening in April 2008, we have been training many domestic and foreign electricians in new and advanced system protection technologies, contributing to the development of technical manpower in the domestic industry.
Relay School is open to anyone interested in system protection technology, including YPP's customers, technicians, researchers, and college students. We are proud to admit many foreign technicians from Japan and Taiwan to our school.
Relay School is focused on digital protection control technology for power system equipment, and consists of 7 training courses that are operated once or twice a year, such as basic technology of digital protection relay, advanced application, ECMS (Electrical Equipment Control & Monitoring System), power system failure analysis and protection relay operation analysis, digital relay practice, smart MCC newly launched this year, and a customized special course in which the curriculum is structured by reflecting the needs of customers.
YPP's Relay School also reorganized and reinforced its training courses in 2020. Relay School is continuously working to improve the contents and quality of the curriculum, putting a particular emphasis on new skills and practical training in each field.
YPP is operating the Relay School as a part of its social contribution efforts, as well as to contribute to the development of the national industry.
We will continue to make such efforts with the goal of cultivating true technicians, reducing training costs, and building a clean and convenient educational environment.
We expect that many electricians from all industries seeking the efficient and stable operation of power systems and equipment will continue to participate in our training courses to achieve their desired results. Thank you.
